INOCOLOGY

This week i received the excellent “Inocology”,the new album from Ino Hidefumi.

Ive been waiting in anticipation for a while,to see what Ino’s new material would be like,i was perviously sent an early sampler,so to have the finished version was also great.

The verdict ? Inocology is a fantastic journey through Ino’s creative mind and Rhodes masterclass,every bit as good as previous releases like “Living message” and ” Spartacus “.

You can purchase Inocology now through itunes,other good record stores and soon at Goodlife store.

Innocent records also relaunched there website,which is always a good source of information,tour dates and Ino’s own blog !

Usually during trips to Tokyo,i would spend my first jet lagged late night,going to Tower records in shibuya,looking for any of Ino’s releases i didnt have,i guess i wont have to do that anymore,but i may still do,and just buy extra copies,as i always enjoyed the experience :  )

PHOTOSHOOT

Had a short photshoot with the kid cammy last week for the new Goodlifestore website.

We nailed the whole thing down in under an hour,talked about pes2010,girls,music and how many people will swagger jack these looks..

KITSUNE

 

Over the last few seasons Kitsune has really caught my eye,from the inspiration of the collections,the lookbook styling,the fabrics utilized,and of course the collection promo videos.

Kitsune are undeniably carving a strong name for themselves in fashion,not to mention the ever impressive Kitsune maison music series.

The aw09 collection “The Graduate”,taking inspiration from the movie is a perfect example.

Even when you watch the movie today (22 years after release),the styling is fantastic,and still very relevant to a modern day young man’s choice of wardrobe

The New Order in Scotland

Hiroki-san recently updated his Honeyee.com blog with some pictures of his visit to Scotland.

although this project was quite recent,it feels like ages ago that these pictures were taken.

Fragment x Rolex

HF showed me this sample last week in Tokyo and i was blown away.

I really like the way he has styled this piece,and the model of choice is perfect.

The whole idea of a custom fragment Rolex is pretty ambitious and a reminder of the positive growth of our culture and one of its most important figures.

Time to start saving up !

Visitors

After a quick dash to London last week,we had some visitors in Scotland.

It was nice to start a new project on home soil,and i look forward to the outcome.

Wings+Horns x Cool Cats Varsity jacket

Back in February of this year,i began planning this project with my good friends at Cool Cats.

After a few trips to Paris,and only a few samples,this is the result.

It’s exciting now that the project is set to be released later this month in very limited numbers.
